What we collect

Calculator runs: anonymous inputs (monthly spend, workload type, tech level) and computed verdict. No name, email, or account required.

Newsletter signups: email address and consent timestamp.

Assessment intake: name, email, self-reported AI tools and spend, workload types, and free-text responses. Used to deliver your assessment.

Pack purchases: email collected by Stripe during checkout. We receive the email from Stripe to send delivery. We do not store your payment card details.

How we use it

  • Calculator runs are aggregated anonymously into a benchmark dataset.
  • Assessment data is used to deliver your assessment and, in aggregate anonymized form, may appear in future benchmarks. Individual customers are never identified.
  • Newsletter email is used only to deliver AI Cost Watch issues. No issue has been sent yet; when we send one it will carry an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time by emailing support@ekow1.com.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Standard processors: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting). Each is GDPR-compliant.

Your rights

To access, correct, or delete your data, email support@ekow1.com. We'll respond within 5 business days.

The System One demo

Text you type into the live card on /learn/system-one is sent to TypeSafe (typesafe.ai), the model provider, to compute the card. Scruuge does not store it — see TypeSafe's privacy policy for how they handle it.

Analytics

We run no third-party analytics. No PostHog, no Google Analytics, no advertising or session-replay trackers. There is nothing following you around this site.

We record what you type into the calculator — your workload, your current model, and your monthly spend — with no name, no email and no account. Our host (Vercel) keeps standard server request logs, as every web host does.

Tool links through /go record the tool identifier, content edition, whether the link is a paid referral, and a timestamp. We do not attach your calculator answers, email, IP address or a tracking cookie to that event. Counts include requests, not verified unique people or purchases. On the provider’s site, its own privacy and attribution rules apply. We do not forward contact details for service referrals without separate consent.
